About the Event

The beautiful raw wilderness of Shark Bay, incredibly talented chefs and the freshest of produce come together to create a unique food adventure with extraordinary experiences.

Think platters of Shark Bay prawns, plump scallops, juicy snow crabs, stiff fresh whiting and pink snapper. Think an island paradise in the Coral Coast, ready to welcome foodies and nature-lovers. Well, get ready to experience one of Australia’s more remote gourmet experiences on Dirk Hartog Island this August. Discovered in 1616, the island is one of the Coral Coast’s largely undiscovered gems, and home to one of Australia’s premier eco-tourism destinations. With fresh fruit and vegetable flown in from nearby Carnarvon, visitors will feast on the freshest seafood and gourmet cuisine, produced by Tony Howell and George Cooper, some of the country’s leading chefs, in an authentic beachfront ocean to plate experience.

Book a stay at the rustic Dirk Hartog Island Lodge, right on the edge of the Shark Bay World Heritage Area, or visit their website for more information on island accommodation.
