The highly anticipated event of the Gascoyne Food Festival - the Twilight Gala Dinner is where you will pull up a seat in the lush horticultural district of Carnarvon, right on the mighty bank of the Gascoyne River. Guests can expect a tapa-style dinner for the ages set in the heart of this productive, sub-tropical horticultural country. Returning favourite Sophie Budd, of Taste Budds, is fast becoming the region's iconic chef, returning for the third year as head chef for the Twilight Gala Dinner. The 8-course tapas style will be prepared by some of Perth's culinary stars, Emily Jones from the Republic of Fremantle, Hart & Co appliance icon Margaret Roberts, Mei Yong from Turban Chopsticks, Melissa Palinkas from Young George & Ethos Deli and local chef, Valeria Lucchitto-Andrelio. Throughout the night, you will hear from Perth’s top chefs putting Gascoyne ingredients in the spotlight. Those ingredients will have been gathered after the chefs visit local growers and farmers, making this Twilight Gala Dinner one of the most location-specific – and freshest – you’re ever likely to enjoy.
